How do I place an order?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, and other methods enabled in Shopify.
Can I place an order on behalf of a school or organization?
Yes! Many of our products are designed for schools and organizations. If you need to pay via purchase order or have questions about bulk pricing, please contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com before placing your order.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or bulk orders?
We offer bulk pricing on select items and non-profit discounts in certain select instances. Contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com to discuss your needs, or utilize our preliminary quote calculator.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After that, the order may have already been processed for fulfillment. Contact us immediately at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com if you need to make a change.
I haven't received my order confirmation. What should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com with your name and the email address used at checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently ship anywhere. Digital products are available worldwide with instant access upon purchase.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 5–7 business days. Please note that curriculum kits and license-gated items may require an additional 1–2 business days for order verification before shipping.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping and handling is calculated as 8% of your order total for US orders and 12% for international orders.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to track your package directly through the carrier's website.
Do you ship digital products?
Digital products are delivered electronically. You will receive access instructions via email immediately after purchase. No physical shipment is required.
Programs & Licenses
What is a SPARK Curriculum License?
A SPARK Curriculum License gives your school or organization the right to use the SPARK Mentoring Program for one year. It includes a hard copy curriculum, online platform access, implementation training, and a full kit of materials for your facilitators. Licenses are available for four age groups: Young Child (K–2nd), Child (3rd–5th), Pre-Teen (Middle School), and Teen (High School).
What is a Insight to Wellbeing Curriculum License?
An Insight to Wellbeing Curriculum License gives your school or organization the right to use the Insight to Wellbeing Program for one year. It includes online platform access, with training videos. Licenses are available for both an individual and an organization of up to 5 staff. If you need additional staff, please contact orders@thesparkinitiative.com
How do I know which license is right for my school or program?
Choose based on the age group you serve. For SPARK Licenses: Young Child is designed for ages 5–8; Child for ages 8–10; Pre-Teen for ages 10–13; and Teen for ages 13–22. If you serve multiple age groups, you may purchase multiple licenses. Contact us at info@thesparkinitiative.com if you need help deciding. For our Insight to Wellbeing License it is suggested for use with older teens and adults.
Can I purchase curriculum kits or lesson materials without a license?
Curriculum kits are exclusively available to current SPARK license holders. If a kit is purchased without a valid license, the order will not be fulfilled, and a full refund will be issued. Individual lesson-specific materials may be available separately.
How do I verify my license when purchasing a curriculum kit?
When you place a kit order, our team will verify your license status before the order is shipped. If we cannot confirm your license, we will contact you at the email provided at checkout.
Can I renew my license through the store?
It depends on your program and licensing situation:
- Insight to Wellbeing Program: Yes, you can renew it directly through the store.
- SPARK Mentoring Program (purchased at regular price): Yes, you can renew directly through the store.
Special circumstances — if any of the following apply, please schedule a renewal call with a SPARK Team Member: multi-year license, multi-site license, or grandfathered pricing/non-standard arrangements. Not sure which category applies? Reach out to info@thesparkinitiative.com.
Does the SPARK license cover my entire school or just one classroom?
The SPARK Curriculum License covers your entire school or site for one year. Curriculum kits are recommended per facilitator and can be purchased as add-ons.
Does the Insight to Wellbeing license cover my entire organization?
The Insight to Wellbeing License depends on if you purchased the individual license or the organizational license. Individual covers only 1 person to use the IWB curriculum. The organizational license includes up to 5 staff to use the curriculum.
Online Programs
How do I access my online program after purchasing?
Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an email with login instructions and a link to access your program. If you do not receive this within 15 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us atOrders@thesparkinitiative.com.
How long do I have access to the online program?
You will have access for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon prior to purchase.
Can I share my login with colleagues?
It depends on your license type and program:
- Self-study online programs: Access is for individual use only and is non-transferable. Each user must have their own login.
- SPARK Mentoring Program (site license): Yes, login access can be shared with colleagues at your licensed physical location.
- Insight to Wellbeing (individual license): Access is for individual use only and is non-transferable.
- Insight to Wellbeing (site license): Yes, login access can be shared with colleagues at your licensed physical location.
If your organization is interested in a site license or would like multiple colleagues to have access, contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com.

Training & Events
Do I need a license to attend implementation training?
Yes. SPARK Implementation Training is available to current SPARK license holders only. If you are not yet a license holder, visit our Programs page to learn more and get started.
What is the Train the Trainer Workshop?
The Train the Trainer (TOT) Workshop is an optional add-on for organizations who want to empower their own staff to train others in the SPARK Mentoring or Insight to Wellbeing programs. It includes facilitation guidance, hands-on practice, and official trainer certification. The cost is $1,000 and is available in both virtual and in-person formats.
Can I attend training if I miss registration?
Training sessions have limited capacity. If a session is full, please contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com to be added to the waitlist or to inquire about the next available date.
What is your cancellation policy for training and events?
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future training date. To request a transfer, contact us atOrders@thesparkinitiative.com.
Are training options available virtually and in person?
Yes. We offer both virtual and in-person training options. Virtual training is held via Zoom. Check our Training page for the most current schedule.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
General Sales Policy — All sales are final. Due to the nature of our products and services, including digital content, training programs, and event registrations, we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase has been made. If you have questions prior to purchasing, we encourage you to reach out before completing your order.
Can I get a refund for an event ticket?
All event ticket sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds or store credit for purchased tickets. In the event that SPARK cancels an event, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Can I return a curriculum kit?
Curriculum Kit orders are non-refundable once shipped, as they are program-specific materials. If your order was placed in error or without a valid license, please contact us immediately atOrders@thesparkinitiative.com. Unlicensed orders will be refunded in full and not fulfilled.
Can I get a refund on a digital product or online course?
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of online programs, digital courses, and downloadable materials are final once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue, please contact us at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com and we will do our best to resolve it.
Can I get a refund on physical products & apparel?
Physical Product & Apparel Policy — All physical product and apparel sales are final, unless an item arrives damaged or an exchange is requested. Exchanges on apparel are accepted within 7 days of receipt and are eligible for exchange or store credit if unworn and unwashed with tags attached. If any physical product arrives damaged, please contact us within 10 business days of receipt to initiate a replacement.
My order arrived damaged. What do I do?
We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us within 10 business days of delivery at Orders@thesparkinitiative.com with your order number and a photo of the damaged item. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Can I exchange an apparel item?
Apparel items are eligible for exchange or store credit within 10 business days of delivery if unworn and unwashed with tags attached. We recommend reviewing the size guide carefully before ordering. We do not accept returns on apparel for size exchanges unless the item arrived defective.
How long do refunds take to process?
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Merchandise & Apparel
Are bracelets and pencils sold individually or in packs?
SPARK bracelets and pencils are sold in packs of 25. This makes it easy to distribute to an entire class or group.
What sizes are available for apparel?
Most apparel items are available in sizes S–3XL. Some items have a smaller size run (S–2XL or S–L). Check the individual product page for the exact size range. A size guide is available on each apparel product page.
Do you restock sold-out items?
We do our best to restock popular items. You can sign up for a restock notification on any sold-out product page.
